Unlikely Allies (known asOur Saviours in PAL versions of the game) is a co-opevent match inSuper Smash Bros. for Wii U. In it, player 1 controlsPalutena and player 2 controlsGanondorf with two stocks each. They must defeat 16Mr. Game & Watches, with four of them appearing on stage at a time, with the exception of the last four which appear in pairs. The first 12 Mr. Game & Watch range from slightly small to normal, and are easy to KO. The following two Mr. Game & Watches will be giant and harder to KO, and will always be black and teal, respectively. The final two Mr. Game & Watches will be even bigger and metal as well.
Progression[edit]
This event is unlocked by clearingPoisonous Planet and unlockingMr. Game & Watch. Completing the event does not unlock any further paths. Once both the event is completed andWario is unlocked, the right path is revealed.
- Right path: Awards aCrazy Orders pass. Leads toFlat Fracas.
By clearing the event within 80 seconds on normal or hard difficulty, one can obtain the Desperate Immortal Shield.

- The "invaders" could represent the Aurum, an invading alien race inKid Icarus: Uprising that Palutena and Hades work together to get rid of—the reference is twofold, as Pit directly compares the movement of the Aurum to the Game & Watch in chapter 21 ofUprising.
