TheSmash World Tour 2022 Last Chance Qualifier is the cancelled lastSuper Smash Bros. Melee andSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate qualifier forSmash World Tour 2022, and was planned to be held in San Antonio, Texas on December 9th, 2022. The Top 2 players of each game would qualify for theSmash World Tour 2022 Championships, bringing the total to 32 players for each game. The tournament would be played up until Top 2, with the Grand Finals not being played out. The tournament would be the only direct qualifier tournament in the circuit.
The tournament was cancelled on November 29th, 2022, as Nintendo would not license the Smash World Tour 2022 Championships and Last Chance Qualifier,forcing the team to cancel it.
