CEO 2022 was aSuper Smash Bros. Ultimatemajor andSuper Smash Bros. Melee super regional tournament which took place from June 24th-26th, 2022 at the Daytona Beach Convention Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. It was the first stop on thePanda Cup circuit. The top 3 players in bothMelee andUltimate qualified for thePanda Cup Finale.Smash 64 was held as an official side event.

This was a sequel to the firstPlup Showdown hosted in June 2021. **Smash 64 singles was an official side event organized by the community and was not part of CEO's main lineup.
Trivia[edit]
- Toph made a surprise commentary appearance duringUltimate singles (despite only being scheduled forMelee commentary), helping commentate a portion of Top 32.
- The loser's side ofMelee Top 8 consisted entirely of Smashers from Florida (with 3 out of the 4 being specifically from CFL), while the winner's side was all players that lived out of state.
- This is the first CEOHungrybox has not won since 2015.
