Battle Arena Melbourne 12 was a fighting game tournament in South Wharf, Victoria featuring events forSuper Smash Bros.,Super Smash Bros. Melee,Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, andProject+. Originally planned as a Platinum tier stop on the2020 Smash World Tour and scheduled to take place from May 29th-31st, 2020, it was delayed three times, eventually to May 13th-15th, 2022, due to theCOVID-19 pandemic. The tournament was a Gold stop on theSmash World Tour 2022, and was the first Gold stop forMelee. At 343 entrants, this tournament is the largestUltimate singles tournament in Australian history.
