The Big House 6 was a nationalSuper Smash Bros. Melee andSuper Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament held in Dearborn, Michigan from October 7th-9th, 2016. It was the sixth edition ofJuggleguy's prestigious Midwesttournament series.
The competition was fierce for both games. InMelee, the four activeGodsArmada,Hungrybox,Mango, andMew2King were present, as well as all the other American top players such asPlup,Axe,SFAT,Wizzrobe, andPewPewU. Europe was also well represented withIce,Professor Pro, andAndroid participating. The Big House 6 was notable for having high-level international attendees such asRudolph from Japan andSpud from New Zealand. It was alsoLeffen's first tournament in the United States in over a year, although he ended upsandbagging.
InSmash 4, 27 of the 50Panda Global Rankings v1 ranked players were in attendance, including the defending championZeRo, theEVO 2016 championAlly,Nairo,Dabuz,ANTi,Mr.R,VoiD,Abadango,komorikiri,Larry Lurr and many others. Unranked threats such asKameme (who had recently placed 2nd at EVO) andSalem (who had made his breakthrough in the top echelon of players atCollision XIV) were additional contenders for 1st place.
The Big House 6 is thethirteenth largestSmash tournament of all time. It currently stands as thefifth largestMelee tournament of all time as well as thefourteenth largestSmash 4 tournament.

- The Big House 6 is the first US tournamentLeffen was able to enter sinceHTC Throwdown one year before due to issues receiving a worker's visa. As a result, he decidednot to take singles seriously and opted to play Marth and Falco, getting 17th place.
