Tekk is aMeleeJigglypuff player from Lyon,France, who is considered to be the best Jigglypuff player in Europe. He is currently ranked 22nd on theEURank 2023 and was previously ranked 43rd on theSSBMRank 2015 and 2nd on theFrench Melee Power Rankings. He is known for playing a rather unique aggressive style of Jigglypuff and has had notable wins over players such asAndroid,Amsah,Zhu, andDuck. Throughout 2015 he gained popularity not just in Europe, but also in the US, making it to round 5 of theSmash Summit community voting before being eliminated.
He started competition in video games withPokémon Diamond & Pearl under the nicknameTartineEtChocolat ("ToastAndChocolate") before playingBrawl competitively. He later shortened this to "TeC" before respelled it as Tekk. He then proceeded to quitBrawl to focus onMelee seriously.
