Lovage is an Americansmasher who mainly usesFox. He is best known for winning the firstThe Big House tournament, defeatingS2J andKirbyKaze along the way, and also for his losers run atNorthwest Manifest, where after losing toChip he eliminated a slew of players, includingAxe,Westballz, andSFAT, to place 2nd. Due to these performances, he was retroactively ranked 7th on theRetroSSBMRank 2011 and listed as an honorable mention on theRetroSSBMRank 2012. Although he would never the same career heights as his 2011 and 2012 performances, he remained a threat in competitive play for many years after, most notably upsettingLeffen atGameTyrant Expo 2017 in what many consider one of the greatest upsets inMelee history.[1]
