Kira is an Americansmasher who mainsFox and formerly mainedSheik. He was formerly a member of the reputed crewSoCal Elite 4. Before his retirement from Melee, he was formerly ranked 86th on the2016 SSBMRank and 14th on theNorCal Melee Power Rankings.
His most notable tournament success was atI'm Not Yelling!, where in bracket pools he defeatedLaudandus before losing toLucky, after which he successfully made top 6 after defeatingSherigami,HugS,Shroomed, andKirbyKaze, eventually losing 0-3 toLeffen to secure 5th place.
He is well known for running aYouTube channel calledSSBM Tutorials, in which he demonstrates and explains the functions of various characters, as well as having guest tutorials from players such as HugS and Lucky. Since 2019, however, due to being busy with other projects as well as having a broken wrist, he has let other guests such asSpark andKoDoRiN conduct tutorials of their own.
Kira announced his retirement from competitive Smash in April 2017, due to a hand injury sustained atSmash Summit Spring 2017.[1] However, he has since competed atGENESIS 5 andThe Mango.

- Kira released a game calledEpiphany City on Steam on April 12th, 2022.
- "Superb Smash Bros" is mentioned in the game, referencing theSuper Smash Bros. series.
- One Steam achievement for it was called "'Isai is too good'" with the requirement being "Don't get hit (while fighting Dark Creatures)," referencing two memes aboutIsai. This reference appears to have been removed as of April 14th, 2022.[2]
- As of September 2022, Kira runs aChristian apologetics YouTube channel calledLight of the World.
