KPAN is aMeleeFalco main who has been playing competitively since 2012. Training with other students and top players at Georgia Tech, Kevin quickly grew to prominence to become one of the best Falco players in Georgia and the Southeast.

In 2015, KPAN was a member of Georgia Tech's team forThe Melee Games, along withDruggedfox,Baka4moe,Awstintacious, andBravo. After fighting their way to the finals they finished 2nd overall, losing to UC Irvine.

He was previously ranked 2nd on theGeorgia Power Rankings and 85th on the2017 SSBMRank.

Sexual assault allegation[edit]

DuringGENESIS 5, KPAN and NorCal smasher A Bird (Hannah) shared a hotel room, the latter under the pretense that their relationship was purely platonic. During their stay, Hannah alleged that KPAN coerced her into having sex with him after a long series of uncomfortable interactions, and attempted to initiate again the following night, despite a clear lack of consent.^[1] About a year later, Hannah reported him to the Smash Code of Conduct Panel, which eventually gave him a 5 year ban from CoC-compliant tournaments for sexual assault. This ban was forwarded to only TOs and was not revealed to the public.

KPAN would later post a response of his own, which claimed that Hannah was not telling the entire truth about the situation, and alleged that he did not do anything that she did not outwardly consent to, while also outright denying some of the actions Hannah claimed occurred. He would additionally accuse the Smash Code of Conduct Panel of mishandling his case, alleging he was banned by them without ever being reached out to for his side, and alleges that during his appeal hearing, half of the people assigned to his case didn't show up and he was never asked questions regarding consent. He would go on to state he felt guilty for immoral actions but did not believe he committed any crime, and that he while he wasn't interested in overturning the ban, he felt the ban was unjust.^[2]

Despite the CoC ban and KPAN claiming he had no interest in returning to Smash, he would go on to continue entering local tournaments under the tags "fallingrocks" and "itspancaketime."
