Etsuji (えつじ), formerly known asEdge (エッジ), andTsuji (つじ), is asmasher fromKanto,Japan who mainsMeta Knight inBrawl, andDiddy Kong in bothSmash 4 andUltimate. InUltimate, he is considered one of the bestDiddy Kong players in Japan, and was formerly considered one of the best Lucina players in the world before he dropped her for Diddy Kong. He was also considered to be one of the two bestBrawl players in Japan alongside9B, having dominated many tournaments during the tail-end of the game's lifespan, and was one of Japan's bestDiddy Kong players inSmash 4.
Etsuji was ranked 63rd on thePanda Global Rankings 100 forSmash 4 and formerly ranked 11th on theJAPAN Smash 4 Power Rankings. InUltimate, he was ranked 19th on the discontinuedJapan Player Rankings in 2019 and 20th on theExperimental Smash Player Rankings forUltimate, while also being formerly ranked 34th on theFall 2019 PGRU.
