Coney (often stylized in all-caps) is a commentator from Odenton, Maryland, known for being one of the most prominent commentators in the United States forSmash 4 andUltimate. He has commentated at many major and supermajor events includingSuper Smash Con,The Big House, andSmash World Tour, and often partners withTKbreezy andEE; the trio is known as "The Blast Zone", which is named after their bi-weekly talk show. In addition, he regularly streams on Twitch and uploads videos to his YouTube channel, boasting over 200,000 subscribers on the latter platform.
Prior to focusing on his commentary career, Coney was known for being one of the bestBrawlKing Dedede players in the world and was last ranked 84th on theSSBBRank 2014. He is known for being the only Dedede player to take a game off ofMew2King'sMeta Knight, doing so atSchool is in Session 4. In addition, he playedWario inProject M, and was considered one of the best Wario players in the United States in the game's early years. Although Coney played otherSmash games, he took the games less seriously compared toBrawl andProject M.
Coney has been signed withVGBootCamp since August 24th, 2016 andLuminosity Gaming since June 7th, 2023, as a commentator and/or content creator for both organizations. He was also formerly signed withPanda from March 2019 to December 2022.[1][2][3]
