Atomsk (pronounced atom-isk[1]) is anSSBUKing Dedede main from New Jersey. He was formerly ranked 5th on theNew Jersey Smash Ultimate Power Rankings and 39th on theWi-Fi Warrior Rank v6. WithinUltimate, he has taken sets off of high-caliber players such asLight,Dark Wizzy,ApolloKage,Syrup,Quidd,Sinji andGen.
InBrawl, he mostly playedKing Dedede and was perpetually considered to be one of the best King Dedede mains in the world throughout its entire competitive life; at his prime, he was considered to be the absolute best. However, he was also known for playing a large variety of other characters at a high competitive level, includingMeta Knight,Wario, and theIce Climbers. He notably placed 5th inBrawl atApex 2009. He has taken sets off of top professional players such asAlly,ADHD,UltimateRazer,MJG,Mr.R,Vinnie,Trela,Fatal, andANTi. He was ranked 10th on theTristate Brawl Power Rankings and 13th on the2016-2017 SSBBRank.
Unlike many other renownedBrawl players, Atomsk did not fully move on toSmash 4 after the demise ofBrawl's competitive scene, with hisSmash 4 tournament activity being scarce and his ability in it being at a significantly lower level, though he was strong enough to initially be ranked 7th on theNew Jersey Smash 4 Power Rankings. Instead, Atomsk focused onMelee, which includes examples such as travelling toGENESIS 4 to enter only inMelee. Here, he mainsJigglypuff, and has taken sets off players such asPeanutphobia,MacD, andJunebug. He was ranked as high as 4th on the New Jersey Power Rankings before his inactivity.
Atomsk was signed byATK Mode on July 17th, 2019.[2] However, they parted ways in January 2020. On December 31st, 2022, he would announce his retirement from competitive play.[3].

- Due to many smashers mispronouncing his name multiple different ways, Atomsk, out of frustration, temporarily changed his tag and Twitter name to Mr. Brodie Lee.[4]
- Since his departure fromATK Mode, Atomsk's tag prefix on start.gg is filled by meme hashtags or names such as "#JoinDarkOrder", "Bringbackmelee" or "David Leon."
- InBrawl atSKTAR, Atomsk foughtGlutonny in a money match while dressed as Captain America, "defending America" against Glutonny, who was competing in his first American tournament. Despite having the advantage in the Dedede vs. Wario matchup however, Glutonny won the set 3-2. The set can be watchedhere.
