Pokémon Battle is a single-playerevent match inSuper Smash Bros. for Wii U. In it, the player isGreninja againstPikachu,Charizard, andLucario in a one-stock free-for-all match.
Progression[edit]
This event is unlocked by clearingUp to Speed. Completing the event unlocks the left path.
- Left path: Awards the Pokémon Trainer trophy. Leads toBehind Enemy Lines.
Completing the event on normal or hard difficulty while KO'ing at least two of the opponents awards a Food Lover X Speedequipment.
Trivia[edit]
- Discounting DLC fighterMewtwo,Jigglypuff is the only Pokémon character in the game to not appear in the match.
- This event uses the same Pokémon asFire-Type Frenzy, only that the player controls Greninja instead of Charizard.
- Coincidentally, all three opponents for Greninja in this event are fought individually in the first half of said Pokémon's Classic Mode route inUltimate.
- In the NTSC description, "battle royale" is misspelled without the e in "royale".
