Plasma Wisps (プラズマウィスプ,Plasma Wisp) are enemies from theKirby series. Plasma Wisps appear as sentient green fireballs with white hands at their sides and a pair of beady eyes.

Plasma Wisps first appeared inKirby Super Star. They are the only enemies in that game able to provide thePlasma ability toKirby.

InSuper Smash Bros. 4[edit]

Shadow versions of Plasma Wisps appear insideMaster Fortress inSuper Smash Bros. for Wii U. Unlike other Plasma Wisps, these Plasma Wisps don't have hands.

InSmash Run[edit]

Plasma Wisps appear as enemies inSmash Run inSuper Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. They float around, charging their beam before attacking. The beam has three level of charge: at level two itstuns the player character, and at level three it inflicts high damage andknockback. A Plasma Wisp at level three is surrounded by a green aura and is impervious to attacks. An easy variant of theSurvive! challenge and the normal variant of theDefeat Them All! challenge contain one Plasma Wisp alongside other enemies. Plasma Wisps also appear in theKirby-themedVs. Enemy Team final battle.

Its Spirit Battle uses a greenRobin and is fought on theBattlefield form ofPrism Tower. Robin starts with aHothead item and favorsThunder while the stage's floor is electrified, referencing Plasma Wisp's flame-like design and plasma powers.
