Peach Blossom (ピーチブラッサム,Peach Blossom) isPeach'sFinal Smash, andDaisy Blossom (デイジーブラッサム,Daisy Blossom) isDaisy's functionally identical Final Smash.
Overview[edit]
When Peach Blossom is used, two drawings of Peach and multiple hearts frame the screen as Peach dances. The Peach drawings flank the window, and the hearts appear all over the screen. A sped-up rendition of theSuper Mario Bros. 3 Coin Heaven theme plays to accompany Peach's dancing. All grounded opponents fallasleep, and all opponents take 10%, 20%, or 40% damage (depending on distance). Characters sleep for longer the closer they are to Peach; this can easily exceed ten seconds even withbutton mashing, especially at higher percents. Regardless of whether enemies fall asleep or not, thirteen health-restoringpeaches appear with each healing 5% damage. Once the Final Smash is complete, Peach can heal herself easily and/or get free hits on her sleeping opponents.
Characters that are grounded and in the air are affected. Other ways of avoiding the Final Smash include grabbing edges,wall clinging, and grabbingladders. These techniques do not prevent a character from taking damage, but avoiding the sleep portion of the Final Smash makes it easier to eat the peaches that appear.
Given that the camera zooms in on Peach during the Final Smash, it may be harder for opponents to move around or stay in midair since they are unable to see clearly where they are and pay attention to their character, which can also cause them toself-destruct unintentionally. However, the zoom-in is brief, so the move is easy to avoid if one knows what they are doing.
Since sleeping characters cannot move, this Final Smash is most effective on scrolling stages. The move has a limited, albeit extremely large, range.
When initiating the Final Smash, Peach will remove allitems in play, except for ones held by fighters. This can be used to her advantage, as she can potentially get large amounts of KOs when holding powerful items, such as aHome-Run Bat.
InSSB4, the Final Smash does 30% damage maximum rather than 40% inBrawl. It has a much smaller range and opponents have to be closer to Peach in order to fall asleep, and opponents sleep for a much shorter time. Despite these negative changes, the Final Smash now affects airborne opponents, who becomehelpless and fall if they are in the air, which can be especially effective if there is no solid ground under the opponents' feet. The peaches summoned during the Final Smash are reduced to three, albeit they are extremely large and heal 20% damage. Aside from gameplay changes, Peach Blossom also received aesthetic changes. The pink frame that appears has changed drastically, taking on an anime-like design. It is no longer flower-themed like it was inBrawl, and is instead decorated with hearts and ribbons. Also, unlikeBrawl, the side images of Peach change every time the Final Smash is activated, and will sometimes blink.
The Final Smash returns inUltimate, reusing the same artworks fromSSB4. It has new aesthetics, including a heart effect upon activation, raining hearts, and a dark pink background during its entirety. The sleep duration has been extended, making it extremely difficult for opponents close to Peach to escape.
Daisy Blossom[edit]
Daisy Blossom isDaisy's variant of the move inSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate. Since Daisy is anEcho Fighter of Peach, it is almost identical to Peach Blossom, aside from being themed after Daisy herself. The only differences from Peach's Final Smash are that it features images of Daisy instead of Peach, an orange flower motif in place of Peach's pink hearts, and the large peaches are replaced with daisies; all of these differences are purely visual, however. Additionally, the total number of unique Daisy images that can potentially show up during the move is slightly lower than the total number of equivalent Peach images that can show up during Peach Blossom; a total of six unique Peach images can appear, whereas the corresponding number of Daisy images for Daisy Blossom is five.

The move is unique toSmash Bros., with its name, effect, and fruit being an pun on Peach's name. However, Peach has shown the ability to put enemies to sleep inSuper Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars using her "Sleepy Time" ability. The Peach drawings were inspired bySuper Princess Peach. Also, the heart effects and motifs of the Final Smash are similar to Peach's heart powers from theMario spin-off titles, such asMario Power Tennis,Mario Hoops 3-on-3, andMario Super Sluggers. Slowing down time reveals that the Final Smash music is a sped-up remix of the music heard inThe Sky andCoin Heaven levels and in theWarp Zone (World 9) ofSuper Mario Bros. 3.[1]
Daisy herself has never done something similar to Daisy Blossom outside ofSmash Bros. The flower effects and motifs of Daisy Blossom are similar to Daisy's flower powers from theMario spin-off titles, such asMario Power Tennis,Mario Hoops 3-on-3, andMario Super Sluggers.

- Peach and Daisy Blossom are two of the four Final Smashes that can inflict the sleeping status effect, the others beingNegative Zone andSupernova.
- In addition, Peach Blossom and Negative Zone are the only Final Smashes inBrawl that can never KO by themselves, although they can be used to set up for a KO.
- While Peach Blossom spawns giant peaches inSSB4, the smaller ones fromBrawl can very rarely appear inSmash Run, being carried by aFly Guy.
- InBrawl'sTraining Mode, a change in speed would change the speed of the music accordingly (e.g., if Training Mode speed is set to 1/2, the music will play at half its original speed). This was removed inSSB4.
