Keldeo (ケルディオ,Keldeo) is a creature from thePokémon series.
Origin[edit]
Keldeo is a Water/Fighting-typeMythical Pokémon introduced inGeneration V, and is a member of theSwords of Justice legendary quartet. Keldeo is categorized within the Pokédex at #647 as the "Colt Pokémon". It possesses twoFormes and can switch from its ordinary to its Resolute Forme, the one appearing inSmash when learning Secret Sword.
Secret Sword is Keldeo'ssignature move, learned only via specific move tutors. It has 85 base power and 100% accuracy, and despite being a Special move it uses the target's Defense stat when calculating damage.

As a Poké Ball Pokémon[edit]
Keldeo appears as aPoké Ball andMaster Ball summon. Upon release, the screen turns a light shade of white, and Keldeo chases after opponents, swiping them with a high ranged Secret Sword attack with its horn. Each attack does 18%, and it will repeat this for about twenty seconds before disappearing. Keldeo is highly persistent with catching opponents, levitates while unleashing its attacks, and its attack does good knockback and possesses great range, making it difficult to simply run away from the Pokémon.
Keldeo has a spawn chance of12/975 from Poké Balls and40/690 from Master Balls. It cannot be summoned on the following stages in a standard versus match (applies to both games and only the base form unless noted otherwise):

The Mythical Pokémon Keldeo looks a lot like a multicoloured unicorn. In its Resolute Form, its horn grows longer and its vision improves. Keldeo also appears as twoprimary spirits. Keldeo (Resolute Form) can be obtained byenhancing the Keldeo (Ordinary Form) spirit at level 99.
Keldeo (Ordinary Form)'s Spirit Battle uses a navyLucario puppet fighter with 140 HP and is fought onUnova Pokémon League. Lucario's Final Smash meter charges quickly and it starts with a Poké Ball containing Keldeo.
