Doppelgänger Duel is a single-playerevent match inSuper Smash Bros. for Wii U. The player controlsDark Pit, and must defeatPit in a 200 HP battle.
Progression[edit]
This event is unlocked by clearingA Situation of some Gravity and unlockingDark Pit. Completing the event unlocks the down path.
- Down path: Awards aCrazy Orders pass. Leads toAura Mastery.
Clearing the stage on hard difficulty awards the Air Defender Raimentequipment.
Trivia[edit]
- The music used in this event,Dark Pit's Theme, normally plays onPalutena's Temple, rather than Skyworld.
- The premise is similar to that ofEvent 18: Dark Link Duel andits predecessor, except that the roles are flipped; instead of fighting the dopplegänger as the original, the player fights the latter as the former.
- This may be in reference toKid Icarus: Uprising, where Dark Pit believed himself to be the original and Pit the doppelgänger towards the beginning of Chapter 6.
