Boom Stompers (ドスドス,Dosudosu) are enemies fromKid Icarus: Uprising that resemble a large seed made of rock.

Origin[edit]

Pit against a Boom Stomper inKid Icarus: Uprising.

Boom Stompers inKid Icarus: Uprising are Forces of Nature enemies that are fairly resilient to damage, slow moving, and, as inSuper Smash Bros. 4, attack by slamming their body on the ground, either directly hitting the player or by affecting them with a shockwave. Both sendPit flying afterwards, rendering him immobile.

InSuper Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS[edit]

Boom Stompers appear as enemies inSmash Run. They walk around on two stubby legs, and attacks by jumping and crashing into the ground: both a direct hit and the resulting earthquake deal damage and heavyknockback, though the latter only if the player is on the ground. Its body does not take much damage, but the leaf on its top is highly vulnerable.

Trophy[edit]

Boom Stomper
NTSCA giant rock bestowed with the gift of life. It usually stays still—as rocks do—but if it catches sight of you, it'll slowly move after you and try to stomp you into the ground. Its stomping also causes shock waves that will harm any fighters in the vicinity. Its weak point is the little leaf on its head!

Its stomping also causes shockwaves that will harm any fighters in the vicinity. Try going for the leaf on its head – that's its weak point!
