A Fated Battle is a single-playerevent match inSuper Smash Bros. for Wii U. The player, asLink, must defeatGanondorf in a 2 stock battle. If the battle lasts through the third background change, 2Dark Links, each with 1 stock, will appear. Whilst the player can knock them out, it is not necessary.
Progression[edit]
This event is unlocked by completingNo Mere Sparring Match. Completing the event does not unlock any further paths.
Clearing the event within 80 seconds on normal or hard difficulty awards an Auto-Healer Swordequipment.
Trivia[edit]
- This event is similar toBrawl'sEvent 9: The Monster Beneath the Earth, where the player must fight additional enemies if Castle Siege reaches its third background.
- The music used in this event,Title (The Legend of Zelda), normally plays onBridge of Eldin, rather than Castle Siege.
