2GGC: Nairo Saga was aSuper Smash Bros. for Wii Usupermajor held in Santa Ana, California on June 10th-11th, 2017, organized by2GGaming. It was announced at2GGC: Civil War as the 5th qualifier in the2GG Championship Series.[1]
This event was dedicated to popularsmasher and streamerNairo. In addition to singles and doubles tournaments, it also featured an in-personladder called 'Naifu Wars' and a 'Waifu Wars' round robin featuring Nairo,ZeRo,CaptainZack,Pink Fresh,Twi, andCosmos. A special modpack including custom charactercostumes and musics, which are a staple of Nairo's streams, was used throughout the event.
Nairo Saga is the first 2GGC event to honor a specific player, which was the tradition of 2GGC's predecessor2GGT.
Naifu Wars: World War 1 was a qualifier for this event.

Trivia[edit]
- The "2GG Curse" continues asNairo placed 4th at the event, losing toZeRo andSalem 0-3 each.
- In addition, Nairo failed to win every other event he participated in as well.
- Salem, despite getting upset 1-2 byJK in pools, made an impressive losers run, defeating the likes ofMr.R,Tweek,KEN,Elegant,Ally,Nairo andMkLeo before losing toZeRo in grand finals to place 2nd.
- Both ZeRo and MkLeo did not drop a single game during their tournament runs prior to facing each other in winners finals.
