Megan Rapinoe Lego figure featured in new set
Ahead of her fourth World Cup, USWNT F Megan Rapinoe is "included in LEGO's new Icons of Play set," part of the company's Play Unstoppable campaign designed to "break down stereotypes and empower girls to play with whatever they want." She's one of four players included in the set, along with Australia FSam Kerr, Nigeria F Asisat Oshoalaand Japan F Yuki Nagasato. The 899-piece set also comes with a "mini soccer field, stands, a dugout, a podium and a camera for video-assisted review." The four athletes also were featured in aone minute film from Lego released in May highlighting the Play Unstoppable campaign (USA TODAY, 7/5).
