Jeffrey Williams, better known as Young Thug, is a hip-hop artist from Atlanta, Georgia. He has been on the scene since 2010, and has some impressive accolades to his name including having featured “About the Money” and “Lifestyle” which made it to number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Young Thug started to thrive on the scene with the release of a couple of mix tapes that were part of the “I Came From Nothing” project, which captured the attention of many between 2011 and 2012 including that of the rapper Gucci Mane, who employed Young Thug, signing him to his 1017 Brick Squad Records. He released his first project under the label, entitled “1017 Thug”, which was hailed as having a distinctly original style. It made a few end of year lists of 2013 such as Rolling Stone who put it at number 10 Best Mixtapes of 2013, and then The Guardian put it in their top five of 2013. Complex put him in the 25 New Rappers to Watch Out For list. He managed to have his song “Danny Glover” remixed by Waka Flocka Flame, Nicki Minaj, and more. He also performed at Fool’s Gold Day Off performance in Miami alongside Trick Daddy and Travis Scott.
It was highly publicized that on January 18th 2014, Young Thug was offered $1.5 million to sign to Freebandz record label. It was later made a little more transparent that Young Thug had signed a management deal with Birdman’s Rich Gang. 2014, saw him record with Kanye West, feature on the cover of The Fader, release his debut single “Stoner” on March 11th 2014. He later announced that the album would be called “Carter VI”.

From thief in the night to light it up, my fellow thug fanatics were beyond grateful. I cried when Check came on. The energy given off by everyone in the building really set the tone. Not one dull moment. I lost my voice, but it was worth it. Next concert Thug is having, I will definitely be there lit then ever before. I love young thug and he loves his fans for sure, truly felt that last night. If you've never been to a thug concert, I promise you will NOT regret it.
The concert was great. Everyone was turnt and engaged with all the music that was being played. When you go to a concert you never really know who is going to perform except for the main act so everyone was excited to see other major artist. We got to see migos, skippa DA flippa, rich DA kid, T.I, of course young thug & more!! It was a fun event I was still thinking about it all today(the day after). Also its cool to see a diverse crowd of people all knowing/listening to the same type of music. I'm not really a young thug fan but I do know a lot of his songs, his next concert in Atlanta I will definitely go to ! :-)

Horrible show. Savage 21 was great. Thug did 3-4 songs. Lip synced all of them and was so f'd up he left stage and didn't come back. It was like a dj on stage. Disappointed. Going to see rich gang. Hope is a lot better. I know what snoop talks about with these N%#*%s biting. Very disappointed. Great venue though
One of the best concerts I've been to in a long time! It was lit asffffff omg. Maxo Kream was there, Trae Tha Truth, Kirko Bangz, Rich The Kid, Lil Yachty, Lil Boat.. Young Thug can really put on a show! Only thing that bothered me was there was mosh pits all over & non-stop! BUT other than that it was good :)
I didnt have a ride and i bought tickets and couldnt get a refund fo it and i was mad about that bc it was 50$
Young thug (jeffery) is my favorite rapperand i came to tears listening to Wyclef jean while i shouldve been there live with my favorite rapper:( heart breaking...
amazing performance one of the best energy a crowd could have bring, however the songs where better that the performances bring my some of the artists such as mhuncho and young thug himself whereas rich the kid and lil baby bring the energy and hype that was needed.
He didn't show up it was a rip off waited for hours with no explanation of why 21 savage or Young the came the rumor is that the promoter didn't have any money to pay them so they left Dallas have nothing but bullshit Janie promoters. I want to refund!!!!!!!!
Liked the light-stick theme and DJ's music choice. Said event started at around 10 PM and ended around 3 AM, but it was 1 AM and left before Young Thug even performed. Got boring just waiting for his performance, so it was a little disappointing.
I was there at 7:30 but the show didn't start until 8. Young Thug didn't come out until 11. His performance was amazing but he just took to long to get in stage. The mosh pit got out of hand at times and was very irritating.
