Friends of the Library
Friends of the Library are nonprofit volunteer organizations that bring together involved, caring people who support and promote the services and programs of their community library.
Through their fundraising efforts, Friends groups undertake projects and supply items that fall outside the established budget of their local library.
Funds raised by our Friends help provide:
- programming for all ages
- support for the summer reading program for children and teens
- support for library capital improvements
- special project funding
- and much more!

Donate & Support
Friends groups are happy to accept financial contributions and memorial gifts. Lifetime and annual memberships are available for some groups.
Friends groups accept donations for book sales. They cannot accept textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books, National Geographic magazines, or damaged books. Some Friends groups may have additional requirements for donations or may be unable to accept book and media donations at times due to space or other limitations.
