SL Benfica Methodology

The methodology applied in the Elite Training Camps will be the same that Sport Lisboa e Benfica uses in thetraining of its athletes, and which guarantees thesustainability of its professional squads. Through specific training that Sport Lisboa e Benfica will provide, you will be able to develop yourtechnical, tactical, physical and psychological skills. Aspects like, running technique, relationship with the ball, tactical circulation and attacking and defensive game principles will be worked on a daily basis in both individual and collective contexts.

The training schedules will have aduration of 4 hours per day, for 7, 14 or 21 days, and will bedeveloped by SL Benfica’s coaches, accredited by the Federação Portuguesa de Futebol (FPF) and UEFA. There will be 3 categories (U14 to U19), each having specific technical-tactical training. In addition, you will also have the possibility of being observed and evaluated by Sport Lisboa e Benfica’s Technical and Scouting Departments.

About Coaches

Accredited by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) and UEFA,the SL Benfica coaches are decisive elements in the development of the Club’s young athletes. It will be them following your evolution during Elite Training Camps.

_ UEFA A License and UEFA "Elite Youth";

_ Degree in Human Movement Sciences from the Piaget Institute;

_ Guest lecturer in the Master's in Football program at the Faculty of Human Kinetics in collaboration with the Portugal Football School of the Portuguese Football Federation;

_ Author of various literature in the field of Youth Training.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations until:

_March 31, 2025: 100% of the amount paid without the need for any justification;

_Between April 1st and April 30th, 2025: 50% of the amount paid, no justification required or 100% of the amount paid, if there is justification* for the cancellation;

_Between May 1, 2025, and June 6, 2025: 50% of the amount paid, if there is justification* for the cancellation;

_From June 7, 2025 onwards: No refund;

*Justifications accepted:

_ Prevented from traveling due to restrictions imposed by governments or other legally competent bodies;

_ Impediment of the participant due to injury and/or illness;

_ Cancellation of the Elite Training Camp by Sport Lisboa e Benfica and/or by indication of a competent government entity.

All justifications for cancellation must be confirmed by the presentation of a legal document that confirms the reasons and clearly identifies their applicability to the participant.

Sport Lisboa e Benfica reserves the right not to accept justifications that do not meet the requirements set out above and that cannot clearly identify their applicability to the participant.
