The Graduates’ Restaurant is operated entirely by Year 11 and 12 Hospitality students from St John’s Regional College and other local Secondary Colleges under guidance of our fully qualified Hospitality team.

Hospitality students participate in:

• Front of House Management (waiter/waitress)
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (VCGLR accredited training)
• Barista skills
• Processing of Financial Transactions
• Customer Service

Cookery students prepare and serve:

• Appetisers and Salads
• Stocks, sauces and soups
• Vegetables, Fruit and Farinaceous dishes
• Poultry dishes (remove)

Cookery students practice and perfect:

• Cookery skills
• Cleaning and Hygiene

All classes, whether theory or during restaurant service, are conducted under the full support and guidance of our qualified Chefs and Restaurant Manager.

The Graduates’ Restaurant has the capacity to host 65 guests and is a popular meeting place for community groups such as the local Rotary Club, school groups and Church groups.Whether it is a family gathering, a small intimate dinner for two, or our Christmas in June celebration, you are sure to receive a warm welcome and leave with a full stomach at Graduates’ Restaurant.
