

The Legislative Bureau of the House of Representatives ("Legislative Bureau") wasestablished in 1948, based on the Diet Law. Its purpose has been to assist Members of the House of Representatives in their legislative activities.
The Legislative Bureau consists of a staff of 88 persons, which are divided into16 divisions.
