TWO CITIES UNITED
The SFZH nonprofit is started and run by local volunteers in arts, culture, academia and business circles with the purpose of more closely connecting San Francisco and Zurich, Switzerland. Sister Cities since 2003, we foster exchanges and collaboration.
ART & CULTURE
Young and established artists bring their sensibilities and craft to exhibit or for longer stays during art residencies.
ACADEMIA
We facilitate the exchanges between high schools and higher education. For many years, students from Lowell High School and the Kantonschule Enge in Zurich have been experiencing life in both cities.
GOVERNMENT EXCHANGE
Local agencies and city departments benefit from each other when it comes to implementing best practices and solve urban issues. We have shared interests equitable and sustainable development.
