Pokémon Sleep
A new Pokémon Sleep event has been announced. This event will be held later and will focus on unlocking Darkrai's Sub Skills and ingredient slots following the Cresselia vs. Darkrai event. If you didn't get Darkrai during that event, there will also be a chance to befriend Darkrai there. It's also confirmed that you can only have one of each Mythical Pokémon. We'll provide full details on this new event as they come
Alongside this, maintenance has been announced which will add following changes. First it'll provide details for a Dream Shard Week event
Next, it adds a new feature called Befriending Badges, which unlock once you reach certain friendship levels with the Pokémon. With Bronze Badge, you can have a Gold Subskill guaranteed and an increased shiny chance
The Silver Badge will make the second sub skill gold for that species, unlock new profile icons and ake it easier to find Shiny
The Gold Badge will make the third subskill gold for each species, a new frame for the profile icon and it be even easier to get a Shiny variant. The friendship levels for each badge are different by Pokémon

The "Pasio Paranormal Studies Club" Academy Event has begun a run in Pokémon Masters EX. This event is the latest Academy Event where you get given a Sync Pair, in this caseFlorian & Lechonk, and have to battle through stages to earn Orbs in order to power them up. It runs until May 3rd
To tie in with that, a new Costume Scout is available to get the Sync Pair ofMarnie (Academy) & Cyclizar. A second Costume Scout is also live to getMorty (Academy) & Hisuian Typhlosion.

Niantic have announced a new event in Taiwan. This event is a special Regional event where players all work together to get the highest amount of Nice Throws. This runs on May 5th through May 11th with rewards running until May 18th 2025
During the event, as you hit milestones, you'll get 3* Catch Stardust if your region is the highest, 2* if it's second or 1.5* if your region is third.
There will also be Timed Research to get Stardust, Poké Balls, Lure Modules and encounters with Scorbunny, Passimian and Croagunk in a backwardscap

The next 7 Star Tera Raid Battle event has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This event will feature a battle against a Salamence with the Flying Tera Type and the Mightiest Mark. It can only be caught once per save file.
This event will run from 00:00 UTC on April 18th through 23:59 UTC on April 20th and again from April 25th through April 27th with Blissey joining it for the second run

It has been confirmed that sectator pass registration for the Pokémon North America International Championships in New Orelans will open at 00:00 UTC on April 23rd 2025. Player registration will also begin at the same time in two waves, with the second wave coming at 14:00 UTC on April 23rd 2025
In addition to that, some elements have been confirmed for the event. The Play Lab and Pokémon Center will both make a return, with registration for the PokémonCenter coming soon.

Niantic have announced a new event in South Korea to celebrate Ditto. This event, "1, 3, 2! It's Ditto Time!" is part of a big Ditto celebration held by Pokémon Korea and runs from 10:00 April 25th to 20:00 April 27th in Seoul and on May 9th - May 11th for all of South Korea.
During this event, at the top of every hour for three minutes Ditto will appear in large numbers
There will be event stickers at Poké stops
You will get 2* Catch Stardust and 50% Trade Stardust Cost
There will be free Timed Research to get rewards including Stardust and encounters with Ditto. This runs only in the second half of the event

The newest Raid Day is rolling out in Pokémon GO. For three hours in each region, Scraggy, Hariyama and Mega Heracross will appear in Raids on each Gym in the area.
With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day. You will also have a higher chance of finding the Pokémon as Shiny after completion of the raid. There is also free Timed Research for all players
A paid ticket is also available that gives increased experience as well as another 8 additional free Raid Passes from Gyms.

This competition also gives 100,000 League Points, a Gold Bottle Cap and an Ability Patch to all players who complete 3 or more battles and provides Championship Points to the highest ranked players, and invites to qualifiers for local competitions in Japan and South Korea

Increase chance of getting Shiny Delibird, Skowvet and Cherubi
Catching Delibird and Skwovet will get Berries

Niantic have announced a new feature, the Stamp Rally. With this feature, when you reach a PokéStop that is eligible for it, you will get a Stamp Sheet and when you go to specific PokéStops, you will be able to get a stamp for your stamp sheet. Like with actual Stamp Rallies, the appearance changes based on how long you press it. If you collect all the stamps, you can get items or encounters.
This first Stamp Rally is live in Osaka as part of the Expo 2025 - Osaka Kansai which runs from April 13th through October 23rd 2025

Pokémon GO - Raid Day
The newest Mega Evolution focused Raid Day is rolling out in Pokémon GO. For three hours in each region, Mega Audino will appear in Raids on each Gym in the area, adding Audino into the game.
With this, you will get up to 5 extra Raid Passes from Gyms and can participate in up to 20 Remote Raid a day. You will also have a higher chance of finding shiny Audino after completion of the raid. There is also free Timed Research for all players
A paid ticket is also available that gives increased experience as well as another 8 additional free Raid Passes from Gyms.
It runs from 2pm to 5pm in your local time.

The "Together in an Unknown Land" Story Event has begun a run in Pokémon Masters EX. This event tells the story of Akari and Rei arriving in Pasio through a Space-time Distortion
To tie in with that, a new Poké Fair Scout is available to get the Sync Pairs ofAkari & Hisuian Samurott&Rei & Hisuian Decidueye.

The latest Tera Raid Battle event is now live in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. This is the second week of the Mighty Tyranitar event. This event has Tyranitar appearing in 7 Star Raids with the Ghost Tera Type, with Blissey appearing as 5 Star Raids alongside it with Tera Shard rewards. As with other 7 Star Raid Battles, Tyranitar can only be caught once per savefile
This event runs until March 30th 2024 at 23:59 UTC

Niantic have announced the next Pokémon GO event. This is the Pokémon Horizons Celebration Event event and is due to run from April 16th at 10:00 to April 22nd at 20:00 local time and adds Tinkatink, Tinkatuff, Tinkaton & Floragato in a hat into the game
Elekid, Hatenna, Charcadet & Tinkatink will be in 7km Eggs. After the event, Tinkatink will be in 10km Eggs
Quagsire, Shuckle, Slugma, Nosepass, Snorunt, Sprigatito, Floragato, Fuecoco, Quaxly, Pawmi and Captain Pikachu will spawn in the wildThere will be 50% Incubator Distance and increased chance of Shiny Floragato and Captain Pikachu
Captain Pikachu, Chansey and Rockruff will be in 1 Star Raids
Charizard, Alolan Muk, Metagross and Liko's Florgato will be in 3 Star Raids
There will be free Timed Research to get event Pokémon, Stardust and Experience
There will be paid Timed Research to get encounters with Tinkatink, an Incubator, a pose with Tinkaton's Hammer and more

The next Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Online Competition has been announced. This competition is the Global Challenge 2025 IV competition and runs standard Regulation G rules
Registration is open from 00:00 UTC until April 10th at 23:59 UTC while battles run from 00:00 UTC on April 11th through 23:59 UTC on April 13th.
This competition also gives 100,000 League Points, a Gold Bottle Cap and an Ability Patch to all players who complete 3 or more battles

This is "Facade Question" by Satsuki with a special music video with various visuals focused around the Vocaloid Kasane Teto, a special Vocaloid originally made as an April Fool's joke. This song is part of this year'sApril Fool's Joke which also featured the addition of artwork of Kasane Teto as a Rival trainer with Meloetta Pirouette Forme.
