Funding programs
Who: First Nations practitioners whose careers would benefit from an attachment to a person, production or organisation.
What: Up to $20,000, supported by a budget.
Who: Screen sector organisations and agencies to run professional development workshops and special initiatives that will better target the development needs of their local First Nations screen practitioners.
What: A grant of up to $50,000 per applicant per financial year.
Who: First Nations filmmakers whose project has been selected for a key international or Australian festival or award, or where travel to an event would help advance the practitioner's career or project slate.
What: Up to $6,000 for international travel and up to $3,000 for travel within Australia.
The First Nations Department allocates funds to initiatives designed to address specific developmental objectives.
