Let's Work Saratoga Volunteer!
Join the Parks & Recreation Commission on select Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon, November-April each year, to beautify and maintain the trails and remove non-native invasive plants at Quarry Park, 22000 Congress Springs Road.
Volunteers ages 15 and older are welcome to participate; a volunteering adult must accompany those between the ages of 10 and 14.
Register to receive announcements when volunteers may sign-up for workdays in the Fall.
Each volunteer is required to register in advance.

Service Agencies
Saratoga is home to a well-connected community of residents and business owners, which is one of the many reasons Saratoga is such an attractive place to live. Much of the community engagement in Saratoga is due to the wide variety of community organizations that accommodate almost any interest or skill set.
City of Saratoga Commissions
The City of Saratoga has several Commissions that serve the public on a variety of issues.
Friends of the Saratoga Libraries
The Friends of the Saratoga Libraries is a community support group comprised of residents and library patrons with a shared interest in the Saratoga Library. This group runs the Book-Go-Round located at 14410 Oak Street, services as a voice for library supporters, helps to maintain a high level of library services, and provides funding for materials, furniture, and personnel.
Hakone Garden
Hakone Gardens is one the largest residential Japanese gardens in the United States. Residents can support the Gardens by volunteer or purchasing a membership.
KSAR15
KSAR15 is Saratoga's Community Access channel and provides residents with news and information relevant to their community. The television channel is run by a volunteer board and is always looking for volunteers, new Board members, and donors to help with station needs.
League of Women Voters
The League of Women Voters is a diversified nonpartisan political group of men and men encouraging the informed and active participation of citizens in government. The League of Women Voters influences public policy through education and advocacy.
Lions Club
The Lions Club is a group of civic minded business people dedicated to the well being of the community. Membership is by invitation.
Local School Booster Clubs
Contact your local school to learn more about how you can help with sports, arts, music, and more!
Muko, Japan Sister City
Help support the Muko Sister City group, receive early notification of group trips to Japan and other countries, hold periodic events and cultural exchanges, and coordinate student exchange programs. To become a volunteer or Muko Sister City member, contact Peter Marra at 408-741-1551.
Rotary Club of Saratoga
The Rotary Club of Saratoga was formed in 1955 by Richard "Dusty" Rhodes. This group forms its membership by invitation and is focused on civic service.
Saratoga Area Senior Coordinating Council (SASCC)
The Saratoga Area Senior Coordinating Council provides local senior services housed in City of Saratoga Senior Center at 19655 Allendale Avenue. SASCC has opportunities for new members, volunteers and donors. For more information, call 408-868-1257.
Saratoga Cares Foundation
The mission of the Saratoga Cares Foundation is to grow the spirit of giving and caring by caring for one and all, especially the needy, and helping the community.
Saratoga Chamber of Commerce
Saratoga business owners are encouraged to join theCity's Chamber of Commerce to help increase retail and commercial activity in the City and support the City's business community.
Saratoga Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
Help keep Saratoga prepared for any disaster or emergency situation by taking part in CERT training and becoming part of the Saratoga Community Emergency Response Team member. For more information,email Jim Yoke or call 408-868-1294.
Saratoga Foothill Club
The Saratoga Foothill Club is a women's civic service group that is over 100 years old.
Saratoga Historical Foundation & Museum
The Saratoga Historical Foundation was established in 1962 and has become a wonderful community asset. The Saratoga Historical Foundation offers a variety of educational programs and runs the Saratoga Museum and McWilliams House. The Foundation is always looking for new members and volunteers. Saratoga Monte Sereno Community Foundation
The Saratoga Monte Sereno Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was established to improve the quality of life in the Saratoga-Monte Sereno area by partnering with the community to strengthen local facilities, services, events, and organizations.
Saratoga Serves
Each spring, Saratoga's faith-based community works together to serve the City. Saratoga Serves includes a variety of projects, from community cleanups to food drives to rotating shelters.
Saratoga Village Development Council (SVDC)
The Saratoga Village Development Council (SVDC) is a networking group of merchants and residents who promote the businesses of the historic Village to the citizens of Saratoga and the surrounding communities. The group encourages and welcomes all interested persons to attend planning meetings held on the second and last Tuesday of each month in the Village.
Villa Montalvo
Villa Montalvo is a nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging the community through global talent, forging meaningful connections between art, artists, and the community.
Village Gardeners
The goal of this volunteer group is to help clean up the Saratoga Village and ensure the landscaping is well maintained. Village Gardeners remove weeds, deadhead all flowers lining the sidewalks, sweep leaves, and water plants. The group meets Tuesday mornings at Big Basin Cafe located at 14471 Big Basin Way. West Valley Green Leaf Committee
The West Valley Green Leaf Committee is a local environmental community group comprised of residents and community partners from Los Gatos, Monte Sereno and Saratoga who are working for a more environmentally sustainable future.
