Brian McEniff has brought his latest term as Donegal senior football manager to an end after he resigned from the post last night.

The hotelier's decision comes on the back of Sunday's shock defeat to Cavan in the second round of the qualifiers.

McEniff will always be remembered as the man who led Donegal to their one and only All-Ireland crown in 1992.
