Don't know why critics are so harsh.Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars04/09/25 Full Review Melinda Mei M I love this show! I don’t understand the low critic rating. It has a good balance of comedy and heartfelt scenes. It’s a very refreshing watch. A lot of the characters are very likable and I would love to see more of this show. I hope it gets renewed for Season 3.Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars05/04/24 Full Review Sofi A Bastante entretenida, no es un concepto tan original pero es graciosa. Es una de esas series perfectas para ver un domingo de tarde.Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars03/28/24 Full Review Robyn H Love, love, love this show! Great cast! Gina is brilliant! Very different and entertaining concept for a show. 💕Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars11/16/23 Full Review Lindsey A The only original element of Not Dead Yet, which follows the long-trodden trope of a protagonist who learns lessons from ghosts, is the annoyingly narcissistic angle that defines every otherworldly interaction. Why is our protagonist haunted by ghosts? Because she is writing their obituaries, obviously (what?!). These poor lost souls' only apparent reason for hanging in limbo is to talk her through whatever micro-drama she's confronted with (or confronting within) each episode. Sad way for their lives to end, if you ask me. And how terribly convenient it is that they seem wholly untraumatized by their deaths, since that would eat precious air time when we could be focusing on the protagonists' self-centered struggles. Your time would be better spent watching Pushing Daisies.Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars10/09/23 Full Review Alexis L I'm not often one to write reviews, but when I do, it is because the praise is well deserved. I initially felt compelled to watch Not Dead Yet seeing that it included three of my favorite sitcoms actresses: Jane the Virgin's Gina Rodriguez, New Girl's Hannah Simone & Superstore's Lauren Ash. I am elated that I decided to watch Not Dead Yet, as it is a beautifully written sitcom that follows the personal and spiritual development of main character, Nell Serrano, played by Gina Rodriguez, in a way that is magical, emotional, and relatable. Nell is picking up the pieces of her life after a difficult chapter and is reflective of many of us who have gone through hard, life changing experiences that are difficult to navigate and move forward from. The parallel of the magical aspects of her life to her personal & spiritual development is wonderfully illustrated and thought provoking. Additionally, the cast and characters are inclusive to individuals of various ages, backgrounds, and struggles in a way that is natural and insightful rather than forced.Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars09/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
