Clever, chaotic TV writer Saoirse, glamorous, stressed-out mother of three Robyn, and dependable, inhibited carer Dara have been a tight-knit group since school. Now in their late 30s, but still as close as ever, these three friends are about to embark on the most thrilling adventure of their lives. When an email arrives, telling them about the death of the estranged fourth member of their childhood gang, a series of eerie events at her wake set them on a dark, dangerous and hilarious odyssey through Ireland and beyond as each tries to piece together the truth of the past. A show about friendship, memory and what happens when life doesn’t turn out quite like you'd expected.

Even if you’re over whodunits, McGee’s cleverly meta spin on an overdone genre and her genius for comedy, dialogue, and character development make for an altogether good craic. Go to Full Review

Behind the slapstick, this is a serious exploration of female friendship and the devastating ripple effects of trauma. Go to Full Review

Just when you worry this madcap mystery might lose its way, the three standout leads pull you back in as they joke and bicker their way through Lisa McGee's unhinged follow-up to Derry Girls. Go to Full Review

...it’s a patchy soldering together of two essentially incompatible genres and is neither funny enough to hold its own alongside Derry Girls nor serious enough to be enjoyable as a mystery romp. Go to Full Review

Kevin L@CriticKev3hWe gave it a fair go but this didn’t work for us. Beautiful Donegal scenery but the exaggerated acting style and reliance on recognisable character archetypes too strongly reminiscent of Derry Girls undermined the sense of authenticity. Instead of grounded human behaviour, it felt schematic and repetitive, and we chose not to continue watching. Bring on Season 2. See more Kalissa H.@kali_41621hI am only on episode three, but so far this show is so good. Great writing, acting, and characters. Love the slight humor and mystery.
