What musicians would America have oppressed if Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Eazy-E, MC Ren, and DJ Yella listened to the naysayers and followed those who said rap music, sampling, reality rap, all of it, was a waste of time and definitely illegal?

It would be nicer to savor a smaller portion of chocolate ice cream and take your time appreciating the scent of the fudge swirls or the texture of the melted ice cream. That was a long, drawn-out metaphor for what this film could have been.

Excellent, masterpiece, phenomenon....I know the story is common to a specific region, but the subject matter crosses continents.

Was a good one. But definitely loved the original more.

This was an interesting movie. I honestly didn't know much of the groups history and probably knew more about them from their solo work. So, this was interesting to see their back story. I thought it was a really well made movie and I enjoyed it.

I don’t understand the hype for this movie but this is just not for me to be honest.The majority of the cast comes across as being stereotypes with cringey accents to make black people and cops feel bad and none of them seem serious for investing in their performances. This movie has to be the worst when it comes to acting because there’s no genuine acting at all. Under any circumstances, O'Shea Jackson Jr. (Ice Cube), Corey Hawkins (Dr. Dre) and Jason Mitchell (Eazy-E) don’t look or sound anything like the iconic rappers. Disappointing on every level.
