A cryptic message from the past leads James Bond (Daniel Craig) to Mexico City and Rome, where he meets the beautiful widow (Monica Bellucci) of an infamous criminal. After infiltrating a secret meeting, 007 uncovers the existence of the sinister organization SPECTRE. Needing the help of the daughter of an old nemesis, he embarks on a mission to find her. As Bond ventures toward the heart of SPECTRE, he discovers a chilling connection between himself and the enemy (Christoph Waltz) he seeks.

Perhaps it's my own fatigue with the Bond franchise and the knowledge of exactly where it will go and how things will turn out that makes the old-fashioned and nicely campy Spectre not as gripping a ride as I would have wanted it to be.

The technology is amazing, acting exceptionally good and absorbing.We were gripping the edges of our seats in some scenes.

Very enjoyable and was one of the best Bond movies we have seen for the first two thirds. Then it became very much as we have seen before. And it dragged. It was also very silly. There was no need for it at all. This was a clear case of "Less is More". We still give it four stars because it was excellent for the majority of the movie. Daniel Craig at his very best.We missed it the first time around and glad we caught it at the reboot.

There is a nice “Day of the Dead” scene at the beginning. Daniel Craig and Lea Seydoux did a great job. Blofeld is in this one. They go to Mexico and Rome which was awesome. Lots of explosions.

That opening sequence is unmatched, the ski-slope scene pure Bond, and the movie never falters. My Craig-era- hell, my ultimate go-to Bond movie.
