Also at times a bit too vulgar with visual gags that would have felt totally out of place in the original series, which this is trying its best to imitate.Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars06/09/23 Full Review Audience Member A good movie, but the comedy isn't always that funny. Still a must-see though!Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars02/27/23 Full Review Polly H If you're a Dad's Army fan like me then you'll thoroughly enjoy it. The script lacks richness at times and the story is a bit weak, but I like Dad's Army so much that I just loved this tribute to the originals. Toby Jones is outstanding and really believable in the role of Captain Mainwaring and Bill Nighy is always a joy to watch, as is Michael Gambon. It's very silly but great fun.Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars10/23/21 Full Review Audience Member A pointless remake . Only laughed once during the whole film . Did the film makers ever watch the original .? Some good actors are wasted on this film..Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
