Kingsley delivers such a riveting performance that it becomes easy to overlook the film's less compelling aspects.

It's a curious film that I'm not certain works entirely, but the two leads are so interesting in their performance choices that I couldn't help but care where this unholy alliance was heading.

Played with bristling charisma by Ben Kingsley, the eponymous protagonist of this unusual chamber drama is anything but ordinary.

A flawed film, saved by two great performances and a short running time. Kingsley manages to do a lot with very little so if you're a fan, no need to pass this by entirely.

As I watched this movie, I wasn't completely sure where the movie was going or what it was about. Its been two days and I haven't stopped thinking about this film. I realize that reviews aren't impressive but I'm going to disagree. Its a short-ish watch and asks some unusual questions about life choices. Its watchable and meaningful. I honestly didn't see it coming.

This was an interesting one. A low budget, minimally casted film about a war criminal and his maid. Surely giving Ben Kingsley all the room in the world to flex his prowess would have been a treat for us all. But his weird English accent and the lack of true emotional depth, was really the downfall for a potentially good movie.

The music and beautiful visuals were tops! Acting tool But the story linewas depressing, and often difficult to follow. The murder of one of themain characters was totally thrown in for shock value. Plus the main character was so awful, and spent the whole time trying to justify himselfSorry I saw this movie.. Left me with a bad tasteD

Kingsley, as expected, delivers a professional and riveting performance as a war criminal in hiding. The intensity is similar to his performance in Se xy Beast.His costar matches him scene by scene, although her character's history could have been more thoroughly described. This movie could have descended into a lolitaesque scenario but credit to the director/writer to being true to the grim reality of the story line. A quizzocal,(huh! turn) in the next to last scene was a false step but overal this movie is well worth the time.
