It could usefully have included older actors as well as young ones.Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I won't lie; I avoided watching this movie for a long time. I generally don't like low budget zombie films because many of them are just poorly made. Sure there were a few diamonds in the rough, but overall the good ones are few and far between. And I hate zombie films that try and humanize zombies or get inside their head like the 2008 version of Day of the Dead tried to do. I have never, ever liked a zombie movie where they tried to make the zombie somewhat sympathetic and as a result I assumed I wouldn't like this movie. I couldn't have been more wrong. Colin is one of the most entertaining and original zombie films I've ever seen. It is made all the more impressive when you consider what the filmmaker accomplished on such a shoestring budget. This is a movie worth checking out if you are a fan of the genre.Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Although its low budget often show in the camera work and acting, it adds to the dreary post apocalyptic world where zombies have taken over. Shooting from the zombie's perspective is a refreshing change from the usual humans running from zombie scenarios. Hopefully this will lead to bigger things in the future.Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Skip it! Perhaps I'm a horror snob, but I've come to expect more from a zombie film than just moaning/groaning, munching scenes and stupid people. In a world overrun with zombies, people would protect themselves better than they're portrayed to in this film. Not to mention the inconsistencies with the zombies, do they like light or not? Seriously! I understand the big hype with this film is the tiny budget, but I've seen 10 year olds do better with nothing more than the things they have in their closet.Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This overlong, non-frightening debut features ugly digital images that are either over-saturated or absurdly badly lit, and its attempts at leavening humour all fall flat.Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member 78%Here's a new one for the Z genera, the undead have feelings...in their nerve endings. But that's not what every one's talking about. It seems this artisticly shot (some hate it, some love it, gotta love art) cost an estimated 40 quid to make and I'll tell you what, if I had made this puppy for $70, I'd be damn proud, damn proud.Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
