Interprofessionalism: Driving Holistic Care
Interprofessionalism brings together health specialists to achieve a single goal: serving patients more effectively through team-based care. At RFU, an interprofessional education means students from different colleges learn with — and from — each other. This prepares you to be part of interdisciplinary teams and develop a holistic view of patient care.
Interprofessionalism in Action

The DeWitt C. Baldwin Institute for Interprofessional Education, led by James Carlson, PhD ’12, PA‑C ’01, vice president for interprofessional education and simulation, continues to champion learning, practice and research within a framework of interprofessional collaboration.
