imageDiscovered independently byLick Observatory Supernova Search (USA)andKoichi Itagaki (Japan).  This is a type II supernova.  We have a DSSPhotometry reference image made by Odd Trondal. Icon generated from the Itagaki discovery image.  This supernova is in theConstellation Aries.
