Abstract

A set of requirements for active Operations, Administration, andMaintenance (OAM) for Service Function Chaining (SFC) in a network ispresented in this document. Based on these requirements, anencapsulation of active OAM messages in SFC and a mechanism to detectand localize defects are described.
