Abstract
This document describes the registration of media types for theECMAScript and JavaScript programming languages and conformancerequirements for implementations of these types. This documentobsoletes RFC 4329 ("Scripting Media Types)", replacing the previousregistrations with information and requirements aligned with commonusage and implementation experiences.
