Abstract

This document defines terminology and requirements for solutionsproduced by the Drone Remote Identification Protocol (DRIP) WorkingGroup. These solutions will support Unmanned Aircraft System RemoteIdentification and tracking (UAS RID) for security, safety, and otherpurposes (e.g., initiation of identity-based network sessionssupporting UAS applications). DRIP will facilitate use of existingInternet resources to support RID and to enable enhanced relatedservices, and it will enable online and offline verification that RIDinformation is trustworthy.
