Abstract

The Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) is a statelessapplication-level protocol for distributed, collaborative, hypertextinformation systems. This document specifies the HTTP/1.1 messagesyntax, message parsing, connection management, and related securityconcerns.

This document obsoletes portions of RFC 7230.
