Abstract

This document defines the Subscriber and Performance PolicyIdentifier Context Headers. These Variable-Length Context Headerscan be carried in the Network Service Header (NSH) and are used toinform Service Functions (SFs) of subscriber- and performance-relatedinformation for the sake of policy enforcement and appropriateService Function Chaining (SFC) operations. The structure of eachContext Header and their use and processing by NSH-aware nodes aredescribed.
