Abstract

The DDoS Open Threat Signaling (DOTS) effort is intended to provideprotocols to facilitate interoperability across disparate DDoSMitigation solutions. This document presents sample use cases thatdescribe the interactions expected between the DOTS components aswell as DOTS messaging exchanges. These use cases are meant toidentify the interacting DOTS components, how they collaborate, andwhat the typical information to be exchanged is.
