Abstract

The WebRTC framework specifies protocol support for directinteractive rich communication using audio, video, and data betweentwo peers' web browsers. This document specifies a simple protocolfor establishing symmetric data channels between the peers. It uses atwo-way handshake and allows sending of user data without waiting forthe handshake to complete.
