Abstract

This document describes GREASE (Generate Random Extensions AndSustain Extensibility), a mechanism to prevent extensibility failuresin the TLS ecosystem. It reserves a set of TLS protocol values thatmay be advertised to ensure peers correctly handle unknown values.
