The DNSSEC protocol makes use of various cryptographic algorithms inorder to provide authentication of DNS data and proof ofnonexistence. To ensure interoperability between DNS resolvers andDNS authoritative servers, it is necessary to specify a set ofalgorithm implementation requirements and usage guidelines to ensurethat there is at least one algorithm that all implementationssupport. This document defines the current algorithm implementationrequirements and usage guidance for DNSSEC. This document obsoletesRFC 6944.
