Abstract
This document describes the Namespace Identifier (NID) 'ieee' forUniform Resource Names (URNs) used to identify resources published bythe Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). IEEEspecifies and manages resources that utilize this URN identificationmodel. Management activities for these and other resources types arehandled by the manager of the IEEE Registration Authority.
